TOP 22 Digital Marketing tools

At the webinar, Anton Voroniuk shared the Best Digital Marketing Tools that will be useful to both beginners and experienced specialists. In addition, he talked about his favorite features of some services and how they can help digital-marketers in their work.

Here Are The Best 22 Digital Marketing Tools 👇🏽

So, the first chapter of my presentation is about competitors’ research. Some of you watched my course Digital Marketing Strategy Bundle and you know that competitors’ research is an essential part of starting the launch of your digital project online. And if you want to get valuable data about your clients and your market, you must begin with research. And I’ll show you some competitors’ research tools that will help you better understand your market and competitors.

Of course, the first one is SEMrush. It’s one of our old friends. We have been working with SEMrush for over ten years. I know the chief executive officer and founder of SEMrush, and these guys created great products. If we talk about SEMrush for digital marketing, this tool gives you many important things.
On the one hand, you can find options for search engine optimization, social media, paid traffic, etc. I love SEMrush for the beginner’s competitive intelligence, and one of the most favorite tools in SEMrush is SEMrush Market Explorer. Using SEMrush Market Explorer, you can create quick surveys, find how much traffic is possible in your niche, analyze from which sources and social media they’ve found their audience, study geography, and find the location of your customers. A lot of valuable information can be found in SEMrush Market Explorer. I recommend you try SEMrush if you didn’t do it before and find options that can be helpful for your business and your project. On the other hand, you can find many features for search engine optimization, keyword research, link analysis, etc.

My second favorite tool is SimilarWeb. SimilarWeb is one of the leading competitive analogies of these tools. SimilarWeb has great free functionality. You can go to, and you can find all the information about your competitors for free:
  1. how much traffic they get
  2. from which sources
  3. the engagement rate of their websites, etc.
        All this stuff is on SimilarWeb.

Google Ads Results Planner

So a third tool is Google Ads Results Planner. Of course, Google is one of the most prominent tools that you can use in digital marketing. It’s the leading search engine, and at the same time, Google Ads is an ad tool that can help you to find an audience for any task and any goals for your business. So, Google Ads Results Planner is the tool that allows us to understand which campaigns can be effective and which give us the most results, and all this stuff is in Google Ads Results Planner. You try to optimize your campaigns, making them better by going to Google Ads Results Planner. And this tool can help you improve your results and grow your sales online and is effective in your online marketing approach.

Facebook Ads Library

Some of you use Facebook Ads, and you want to learn the best practices; you want to understand the main tools for your ads advertising. Just going to Facebook Ads Library (type in the google Facebook Ads Library) and adding any competitors’ Facebook page, you can see which ads your competitors already use. And these ideas will be beneficial for you. You can start with this tool if you want to learn what creatives they use, what texts they message in their Facebook Ads etc. It will be an excellent bonus for guys working for the United States market. You can check your competitor, and you will see their budget. Budget for Facebook Ads, this option is just for the American market. You can’t get this data for your native markets, but for the United States, it’s possible. Also, you can check some elections and some political leaders and see the budget for their promotion. This story is also possible for most countries and most markets.

Brand Lift 2.0

My next favorite tool is Brand Lift 2.0. YouTube is the second most popular website in most markets and the second most popular search engine. And of course, most businesses try to get an audience from YouTube, and they think:
  • “How can I measure my brand awareness?”
  •  “How can I measure my brand metrics?”
Brand Lift 2.0 is an excellent tool for this purpose. When we talk about Brand Lift 2.0, this tool you can use as a survey. When you start your YouTube ads campaign, you will see how your brand awareness grows. You can see such metrics as “brand recall.” You can understand how people compare your brand with your competitor’s brand. And a lot of other things you can get from this survey. I recommend using Brand Lift if you start your YouTube ads, and you will find a lot of fruitful insights from this tool.

Of course, when discussing content marketing and content marketing strategy, Buzzsumo is one of the most valuable tools. You can go to Buzzsumo and find your evergreen content ideas, etc. You can just put your website there and check the posts that got the most likes, shares, etc. In our case, we analyzed our competitors, and we found out that the most popular articles were “top 100 blogs about digital,” “top 10 YouTube channels,” “top 10 telegram channels,” etc. In our case, we decided to create our own “top” articles. We’ve created “top 500 blogs about digital marketing,” and this article gave us over 100 000 views during the first year.

So Buzzsumo is an excellent tool if you want to create your content plan and find great ideas for content. I recommend it. Also, you can check it, as all the tools in this presentation, for free. Most tools are paid, but they have free versions, and they have trials. So you can register, get a three- or seven-day trial, check these tools for your business, and decide whether you need them in the future.

Of course, any guy in this webinar in the search engine optimization field knows Ahrefs. Ahrefs is an industry leader in link analysis. Ahrefs is one of the best tools if you want to know everything about your competitors’ links.
You must watch Ahrefs like a TV to understand:
  • how they get links
  • with which anchor text
  • from which sources
  • how many links, etc
All these questions have answers in Ahrefs. So have to go there to find more details about your competitors, their link-building strategies, and their tactics. And Ahrefs can be helpful for you to build your search engine optimization results better. You can get a lot of other valuable tools connected with search engine optimization in Ahrefs. It can be keyword research; you can check your keyword positions, search engine optimization, on-page results, etc. A lot of valuable SEO tools. But for most marketers, Ahrefs is about links; of course, their best feature is their calculator feature. So, you can register on Ahrefs and find many things about your competitor’s links.

Facebook for Business

We told you that Google is a leader, but Facebook is number two. And when we talk about digital marketing, we can’t talk about it without Facebook. If you want to find great ideas for your content and ads on Facebook, you can go to Facebook for Business. This library of ideas will help you find insights into financial services, retail, e-commerce, gaming, entertainment and media, telecommunication, technology, consumer packaged goods, automotive, etc. Just go to Facebook for Business, find your niche, and find a lot of insights and great case studies that can help improve your Facebook marketing and ads.

Facebook Creative Hub

One marketing challenge is finding ways to create effective and appealing creative materials and advertisements on Facebook. And Facebook Creative Hub is a tool that you can google. You can google “Facebook Creative Hub,” and you will find many inspirational things about creating mobile apps, creating a great video on Facebook, creating great content for Instagram, etc. So, if you have no inspiration and need to develop new content and ads for Facebook and Instagram, type in “Facebook Creative Hub” and visit this website. You will find many valuable things for your marketing activities.

Previously we talked about Facebook tools. It was Facebook for Business and Facebook Creative Hub. Google has the same tool, and it is called “” You can type in “” and get insights, ideas, and inspiration. Here you can…find consumer insight, marketing strategies, the future of marketing, and many valuable tools. You can read articles, check surveys, and check some tools, and with “Think with Google,” you can make your google marketing better, your google ads better, and increase your sales from such sources as Google Ads to make your online business better.

Google Market Finder

Google Market Finder will be helpful for guys who are unhappy with the domestic market and want to grow globally. And you’re trying to find, “Hmm, what is the best market I have to start?”. For this purpose, you can go to Google Market Finder. Type in the services or goods you propose and see which markets will be best for your activities. Google Market Finder is about growth, and it’s about ideas, it’s about insights, and, of course, it’s about globalization (how to create from a small but very local business something great that can be sold all over the world).

TikTok Creators

TikTok Creators portal is another one of my favorite tools. If you start your activities, you go to Google and then to Facebook. YouTube is a part of Google; Instagram is part of Facebook. Backed by some surveys, TikTok was number one in many minds this year. And if you talk about finding a young audience and making people happy with video content, it’s all about TikTok. So, if you want to find a lot of valuable insights about TikTok, you can go to the TikTok Creators portal. You will get tips on how to get started, find their surveys, case studies, creative examples, etc. All this stuff is there, and you will see how to make Tik Tok great again for your marketing or digital marketing strategy.

Visit these portals, all these tools like Facebook for Business, Facebook Creative Hub,, and TikTok Creators portal. It’s all about inspiration. Marketers have a lot of routines. You work with a lot of things that you must repeat day by day. But if you want to get great inspiration, insights, ideas, and some thoughts about creatives, visit these four tools. They can benefit you to make something different, to make something better. And I hope you will say that some of these tools were new to you during this webinar.
So, we talked about competitor analysis, and, as you remember from my digital marketing strategy course, it’s the first step. First, you must start with competitors’ analysis, learn more about your market and competitors, and understand how to use this data to build your digital marketing strategy. But when we talk about marketing and digital marketing, appearance has a significant role because you have to make your customers and audience love your ads, content, and product. And how to create beauty creatives and ads – it’s all about the following tools you will find in my presentation.

The first one of them is Canva. Canva is a tool that helps you to design for everyone. You can create your emails, Facebook Ads and posts, Instagram posts, some videos, etc. Using Canva, you can get a lot of valuable stuff there. And Canva is a great tool when discussing activities connected with the beauty of your creatives, ads, and website. So, try using Canva and find some great templates for your digital marketing, website, or social media.

Another Canva competitor is VistaCreate. VistaCreate formerly was Crello. Vista Create solves many problems with your content. You can design everything your way. You can run through your social media, emails, websites, landing pages, etc., and make them more beautiful. As in the previous case, you can find a lot of templates. You can run through them and find some you can use for your project as quickly as possible.

Google Data Studio

Of course, marketers love data, marketers love numbers, and marketers love reports. And Google Data Studio is all about data, numbers, and reports:
  • you can visualize your content;
  • you can visualize your metrics in the right way;
  • you can connect your own Google Analytics with Google Data Studio;
  • you can get data from your spreadsheets, Power BI;
  • visualize your results, build beautiful dashboards;
  • make your data clearer and give clarity to all things that you have in your ads activities, content marketing activities, and other digital marketing things you are going to do.
All this is about Google Data Studio. Suppose you have yet to start using this tool previously. In that case, I recommend learning about Google Data Studio because it’s a powerful tool that can visualize your data and make it clearer.

YouTube Video Builder

YouTube Video Builder is an excellent tool for small businesses. Many small businesses don’t think about YouTube because they have great pain. They need to learn how to create video content, which is a problem for them. So, if you talk about the first steps you have run through, you must learn more about YouTube Video Builder. This tool can help you create videos quickly, easily, and for free. Google created YouTube Video Builder for not just small businesses. Of course, when you watch the first videos or through the YouTube Video Builder, you can say, “Hmm, they are not very beautiful.” Still, they can effectively start your YouTube campaigns, get first sales and results, increase your activities, and learn more about this tool.

Analytics is one of my favorite fields. Some of you were on my course about Google Analytics. You know that I got my first certification in Google Analytics around 10 or 12 years ago, and that’s why I always put some analytical tools in my presentation. And this toolkit is also about analytics. You will find some valuable analytical tools you must try to use this year if you still need to start using them.

Google Analytics 4

The first and primary is the GA4. Of course, two years ago, all digital marketers and all marketers were OK with what web analytics tools they must use. The answer was easy — you must use Google Analytics. But now we have pain in the ass. We have two Google Analytics: we have Universal Analytics and we have GA4.
What is the difference between these two systems? If you are a small or medium business with just a site, but you don’t have mobile apps on android or IOS, in this case, you won’t feel this difference.

But at the same time, if you have a mobile application, the difference will be crucial. GA4 it’s about the mobile web, it’s about how to gather all data from your mobile apps and desktop version of your website in one place.

  • how to combine them in the right way
  • how to connect all these data streams
  • and to move from sessions and reviews to users and events
In our case, we used GA4 one and a half years ago. Most of our clients have GA4 on board. We installed GA4 for all our projects, and we recommend that you gather the data from GA4 and combine it with Universal Analytics reports. You will have all your data in Universal Analytics, maybe for two or three years, but if you want to start to work with GA4, you must do it now.

Google Digital Maturity Benchmark

This tool is part of the ThinkWithGoogle portal. So, suppose you think that Google’s Digital Maturity Benchmark is not valuable. In that case, you’re mistaken because you can find a lot of data and figures about niches and metrics and compare yourself with other brands and countries. And starting now is the best way to compare your business with other businesses and get valuable insights into what is good or bad in your digital marketing.

Plerdy is an excellent tool if you want to grow…to make your conversion rate higher. This is a conversion rate optimization tool with many valuable features:

  • for analytics
  • conversion rate optimization
  • and search engine optimization
But at the same time, if we talk about Plerdy, the main helpful feature of Plerdy is the first. You can have a lot of different heat maps. You can see how people interact with your website, scroll it, etc. And you can see videos of your customer’s engagement. It’s like a series. You are not watching “Game of Thrones,” you’re not watching like a “Squid Game” or any other series, but you’re watching your customers surfing through your website. It’s okay with GDPR. There is no personal data in these videos, but as a marketer, you will have great honor and happiness when you start to watch these videos. And Plerdy, it’s about a better understanding of your audience, why your website is not good in conversion, and how you can change and fix it. So, learn more from Plerdy, and you will get a lot of valuable insights about how your audience surfs through your website.
The final part and the final chapter of our tools is retention. Usually, people need to remember retention because they think it’s not very important; acquisition is the first. But without retention, most businesses on the internet will die because you will get a negative ROI if you start, like, Google Ads and Facebook Ads in some niches with high competition. So, let’s talk about how to make your clients come back, how we can make them buy something more, and what tools can be great in your digital marketing toolkit if you want to work with them.

So, the first thing is about SendPulse. SendPulse is my favorite tool if you talk about all retention marketing, CRM marketing, and email marketing. This service has many things that are valuable for a digital marketer. They have emails, push, SMS, and chat bots in Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram, so you can find many things that can improve your digital marketing and make your clients come back and buy something from you again and again.

If you talk about Mailcharts, this tool can be beneficial. If you want just to start your content marketing in emails, you want to send your first letters. And in this case, you can go to to analyze and examine your competitors, what content they sent to their customers, your content plan, and your ideas. And in this case, Mailcharts can be helpful for you to start your digital marketing, and to create your email marketing activities. I recommend registering in Mailcharts. Try it for yourself, and maybe it can be helpful for you.

Last, but not least, the 22nd tool in our toolkit is Warmy. What is Warmy? Warmy is an automated warm-up service that helps you to warm up your email and domain in email marketing. Some of you who have already started your email marketing understand what a big deal it is to do it correctly, don’t get spam filters, don’t fall in the promotion chapter tab in Gmail, etc. So, if you want to start the right way or don’t want any mistakes connected with your email marketing, try Warmy. It will help you start faster, not get many spam abuses, fix all issues correctly, and your email marketing will be much more efficient and easier.
So, these are my 22 tools in digital marketing for 2022. Please write the number of new tools (for you) in the comments or which tools should be added to the selection.
